What I have learned today

I woke up this morning determined to go back to bed and get some more sleep.  But instead spent the morning reading inspirational talks on the internet and other family and friends blog websites.  WOW what a great way to start the day.  I have opted to exercise tonight with a friend of mine.  I am excited for the change.  I usually go at the crack of dawn.  I also learned how important it is to be happy in all things.  I loved Elder Wirthlin's advice; "Come what may.... and love it!"  Well I agree totally.  I am looking forward to this cold snowy day.  I have a car to keep me warm and a nice warm house to be safe from the elements.  I am so blessed.  Here is to another great day of painting, cooking and spending time with my great kids.  I love Halloween.

It has been awhile since I have written. We got lots of snow yesterday and saturday. I would say about 8-10 inches. Then it was cold. We had lots of cold wind especially on sat. We stood at Jacob's game and we froze to death. But it was worth it, they won 21-0. I always feel so bad for the other team. Especially when it is little 5-6th grade kids playing. Besides the snow and a great football game, I spent 3 days in Utah taking care of my mom. She fell in her apartment and really bruised herself and ended up in the hospital for 2 days. She also has been diagnosed with fibrosis; a buildup on the lungs. When she was in the hospital her O2 count would get very low if she didn't stay on oxygen. So when they released her they sent home a oxygen tank and set her up for a stress test and a some tests to see if she is more diabetic than they thought. It was a good opportunity to take care of my mom and spend some time with her. I only took Spencer with me, and that made it a little easier. I got home wed. night and things went back to there normal rat race. Mom called the next morning and she was already doing better and was up and walking around. I was so HAPPY! Well halloween is just around the corner and I am so excited. As soon as I get my porch finished I will take a picture and post it. I am doing more of a witch theme this year. I hope it turns out the way I see it my mind. Have a great week.

Brenda, my favorite friend in Las Vega called me today and said I need to blog every day.  Since my life is so crazy, I decided I will at least do this once a week.  

This is a great picture of Caleb and me, riding the great Splash Mountain.  We loved this ride so much that we rode this ride 14 times.  One night in particular, we rode it 5 times in a row.  Each time Caleb sang, and laughed and had a great time.  I LOVE Disneyland.  I can't wait to go back.
